Major Wireless Client

In June 2006, Julian served as FCC counsel for Sensus USA Inc. in its acquisition of the FlexNet™ technology and other assets from Advanced Metering Data Systems, Inc. for $64 million cash and the assumption of certain liabilities. Since then, he has represented Sensus before the FCC and helped with numerous spectrum acquisitions and sales, spectrum licensing, and other regulatory and advocacy matters. On Sensus’ behalf, Julian and his team of paralegals filed with the FCC more than 6,000 spectrum leases. This is the largest number of spectrum leases by any FCC licensee. In October 2016, Xylem, Inc. acquired Sensus for $1.7 billion in cash.
